Active holidays in Altmühltal nature park
Our idyllic holiday paradise is tailor-made for a variety of activities such as hiking, cycling, and canoeing.
Just 50 meters from our establishment, the Altmühltal Cycling and Hiking Trail begins. From there, you can make the most of over 900 kilometers of bike paths away from traffic. Hikers will also find numerous trails through the nature park to fully enjoy.
In case you are unable to bring your own bicycles, we have two standard bicycles and two e-bikes available for rent in the house. Feel free to approach us about this.
The boat arrival point for inflatable boats, kayaks, and canoes is also just a few meters from the Hirschenwirt. In the quarries of the nature park, you can search for prehistoric fossils with hammer and chisel or delve into the traces of Roman history. A highlight is the baroque city of Eichstätt with its magnificent buildings. Here, you can participate in historical excursions or explore the fauna and flora of the Altmühltal Jurassic during guided tours.
